Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter (born March 26 1991) better known by her stage moniker Ari Lennox is an American singer and songwriter from Washington, D.C. She is the first female artist to be associated with J. Cole's record label Dreamville Records. The first single, Pho which was released on 21 October 2016 was released on Dreamville Records. She began to gain fame. Shea Butter Baby, her debut album, was released on 7 May 2019. Ari Lennox first posted music online in 2012. She released her debut album Ariography as well as her debut mixtape in 2013, the mixtape Five Finger Discount. She continued to upload her music online in 2014 and released her own single Bound. In the year 2015, she performed in Omen's Elephant Eyes Album, which came out on the 21st July. it out on July 21st. J. Cole was interested in her talent and wanted to use it with Rihanna. On December 28, 2008 it was announced that Rihanna was contracted with Dreamville Records. In the album Revenge of the Dreamers II She was on the track Backseat alongside Cozz. The 21st of October, 2016, she released her debut EP entitled Pho. Ari Lennox later appeared on J. Cole's hit song Change and also performed as the opening act on the 4 Your Eyez Only Tour in 2017. She also appeared in 2018 in two of her songs with labelmates EarthGang in the video for Nothing but the Best. and Bas On Icarus. Ari Lennox dropped her first single Whipped Cream on Shea Butter Baby on July 16. A music video followed followed by a video in September. Then on November 9, she released two additional singles: forty Shades of Choke as well as Grampa. In November 2013, she released her debut album No One and Pedigree. Shea Butter Baby. Shea Butter Baby then made appearances on the Creed II album soundtrack alongside Cole. She dropped this single as a way in order to announce her debut album Creed II on 26 February 2019. The 20th of February, 2019, a music video was released for the song. It already has over three million views on YouTube in its first week. In December 2018 the singer was a part of the From East Atlanta With Love Tour that featured 6LACK.
